How are energy and water quotes calculated?

Our quotes are calculated based on the number of occupiers living in a property. The more occupiers living in a property, the higher your initial quote will be as your home will use more energy and water. This quote will be the amount you are charged for at least your first two or three monthly payments and once we start receiving meter readings from you or your smart meter, we'll amend your payments accordingly if necessary.

Our goal is to ensure that you have a £0 final energy and water balance at the end of each 12 month period, so that you don't build up a large debt on your accounts. For us to achieve this, we need to ensure that your monthly payments are accurate based on meter readings. If you don't send us meter readings throughout your time using our service, your payments will increase in line with higher estimated usage.
