How do we manage our council tax if we have students and non-students in our property?

If you have some student tenants and some non-student tenants living in your home, the student(s) need to contact the council to provide their student numbers to the council. The council will then remove the tenant's name from the bill. If there is one student and one non-student living in your home, be sure to request the 25% single person discount when you are providing your student number.

Once the council have processed your request, they will send a new bill which you can upload to your online account here. Once uploaded, we will then adjust your monthly payments accordingly.
